ARK’S SEARCH AND RESCUE RAPID DEPLOYMENT CRAFT

Rescue, police and ambulance services worldwide quickly embraced ARK’s reputation for rugged commercial boats – and ARK has developed a range of inflatable boats to handle the challenge of rapid deployment. They are designed to be deployed from 4X4s and helicopters in areas that are inaccessible to any other boats.

With attachment points rated to 1000 kg each they can be roped into situations with confidence.

The ARKANGEL, and adaptations of the CROC and FISHDUC are the most widely used and have the benefit of 15 years of real life rescue experience. We have also provided customised NILE and SUPERFISH rafts where bigger load capacities are required.

THE CROC

Originally, the CROC was developed to enable rafting operators to access waterways where no other boat could go. Since then, it has proved overwhelmingly popular as an indispensable all purpose craft. Its carrying power, performance and versatility continue to amaze even us!

Now also widely used as a rapid deployment rescue craft by rescue services and police search and rescue. In South Africa the ARK CROC is on the Swiftwater Rescue standard operating equipment lists.

Weighing in at just 21kgs, it folds to the size of a large suitcase and is easily stored in a vehicle.

THE FISHDUC

Boasting a sturdy 22-mm marine ply transom, the FISHDUC was principally designed to accommodate up to a 10hp engine. A choice of closed cell foam floor or our new drop-thread air floor. It's flat profile glides easily over the water and effective bailing system ensures you are ready for the next big wave. Like all of ARK's craft, the FISHDUC is durable and built to withstand extreme conditions and abuse.

The FISHDUC has gained credibility with rescue and police services worldwide.
