Your project designed, costed, digitized, developed and finally manufactured. ARK's specialised rapid prototyping capability has attracted commercial clients working in extreme environments worldwide.

ARK's state of the art facility and technology combined with our enthusiastic design team will make ANY shape or size inflatable a reality in no time. From your brief and rough sketches we can firstly create and present a virtual 3D prototype, develop the patterns and digitally cut them out, plan and weld up in the final prototype within a few days. This "rapid prototyping" in house capability is a service unrivalled in the industry, and has secured ARK many prestigious contracts for many various applications from medical, commercial fishing, mining and exploration to tubes for amusement parks.

The TUNA RANCH must be the largest fully sealed inflatable made to date, built to exacting standards and for extreme conditions, this 22m tube was conceptualized, then designed and put into production by the ARK team within 8 weeks. Sea Trials exceeded all expectations; this Tuna Ranch was towed at 8 knots without distortion.

A similar, but smaller 5 metre diameter fish ranch cage was built in late 2008, as a fish farming research project for Stellenbosch University in South Africa.

One of our many successful projects, the VERSIFLOAT is a modular platform system designed for working on yacht hulls whilst at moorings. (refer to www.versifloat.com for details). The same products can be customized for watersport/leisure platforms or dock extensions.

Wondering where to stow those big rubber fenders? Never enough fenders when you need them? Do you require large fenders for those occasional times?

Save your vessel’s hull with ARK fenders. Quickly deployed, these heavy duty fenders can withstand heavy loads, are non-abrasive on your hull, and are easily deflated and stowed afterwards. Fitted with ARK’s multidirectional stainless steel D-rings on both ends, they can be hung vertical or horizontally.

All are available in two choices of 1450gsm fabric, either Polyurethane or PVC. The Polyurethane has a better abrasion resistance, although you will still get many years service out of the PVC fabric.
